Construction has started on a 10-megawatt photovoltaic solar generating facility and 15-megawatt battery storage system located on Edwin Road west of North Oracle Road, within Pinal County. The Chirreon Solar and Battery Storage Facility (Chirreon), which will serve Trico Electric Cooperative Members, is projected to be in service by summer 2022.

D. E. Shaw Renewable Investments (DESRI) and Torch Clean Energy (Torch) announced today that they have reached financial notice to proceed (FNTP) on the Hunter Solar project (Hunter). Hunter is a 75MWac solar facility located in Arapahoe County, Colorado. Hunter was initially developed by Cypress Creek Renewables, LLC, and acquired in a joint venture between DESRI and Torch.

Shaw Renewable Investments (DESRI), a leading renewable energy producer in the U.S., today announced details regarding the signing of a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Facebook for the Chester Solar project in Virginia.
